Canary Islands

The Canary Islands is a popular place for Europeans to vacation. It boasts a friendly spring climate all year round. It would be the equivalent of Florida and Puerto Rico combined for Americans.

Vegas?

Something about the light...

There is something about the sun in Rome because every picture I have taken cast these beautiful long shadows, even at noontime. Absolutely stunning.

Real Roman Landmarks

There is something utterly surreal about traveling to a place that you've only heard of or dreamt about. This is exactly what Rome is to me: a dream come true.

In Rome, I have met some lovely and charasmatic characters, savored the delicious food I've only had imitations of, and visited some of the most wonderful, historical archchitectures in the world.

I must have taken at least 600 pictures. More pictures of Rome to come. 

When in Rome...

I had the recent fortune of traveling to Rome, Italy on my spring break. A bit early for spring break, but I can't complain. It is such a wonderful city and I can't decide which pictures to upload because the entire city is worth showing. 

I also went to the Canary Islands the previous week. More pictures to come soon!

Problems With Photos

So there is something wrong with my photo uploading, which is seriously frustrating.

However, to my friend Alejandra, this is for you:

I love you and London is not the same without you dancing beside me in the clubs. I can't wait to come back and wreak havoc on the newbies.

Onto Brick Lane Road

My good friend, Courtney, advised me to go to Brick Lane to check out the vintage shops and other various shops.

As I've discovered, the way there is just as interesting. There are stands everywhere around the area.

These are just a small selection of what I captured today.

Saving Money

It's not that the food in the UK isn't good, but it is also quite costly. I'm going to start cooking more and spend my money elsewhere (shopping and traveling).

Studying abroad is hopefully going to make me a better cook.
